Keep an eye on the events page on the Wold Rangers Way website for more details.

Ultra Marathon Event

The Wolds Rangers Way is a 43 mile circular waymarked route through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds, starting and ending in the centre of Driffield. The terrain is vast farmland, chalkland and dry valleys through mostly green lanes and bridleways.

The undulating landscape is challenging but not technical, so whether this is your first ultra-marathon, or you are an experienced runner looking for a fast time, the generous 14 hour cut-off time would be suitable for anyone with a good level of fitness.

On New Year’s Day the Wold Rangers Way trustees are inviting you for a gentle 3-mile walk on the Croom Mabel Trod to celebrate the birthday of the Last of the Wold Rangers.
Just turn up, it’s not guided, get some fresh air and walk in your own group.
Meet at the Wold Rangers Way start (on Marketplace) at 09:50 to set off at 10am
