Driffield Show is the largest event in the town’s calendar, attracting around 25,000 visitors to the Showground. In 2021 the show was run over two days for the first time in its history due to the COVID-19 pandemic, on July 21st and 22nd.
It has been held every summer for 140 years and is now the biggest one-day agricultural show in the country. This year’s show had over 500 trade stands, plus a wide range of activities and entertainment including livestock judging, equestrian events, sheep shearing, birds of prey, dog shows, and plenty of stalls selling locally-made arts, crafts and produce.
