Events and Markets Committee

The Events and Markets Committee usually meet on the 1st Wednesday of the month (apart from August) at 7pm in the Council offices at 2-4 Market Walk, Driffield. Agendas and minutes are available below.

Driffield Town Council over the years have run many community events, including the Christmas market and light switch on, Scrambling, town centre promotion, jubilee and remembrance events.  The Event committee oversee all these activities and many other events that arise through the year such as ceremonial celebrations.

The Committee also have responsibilty for the running of the Driffield Thursday Market that features many traders selling a variety of products.
