Driffield Town Council own and manage the CCTV system, which was one of the first in the East Riding. The system is run by a sub-committee of the Town Council which features members of the local community, including the police, residents and town centre businesses. The committee have joined forces with the Save Our Streets campaign and are working with these Middle Street North residents and business people to extend the system from the town centre. The system is now providing full coverage at Middle Street North, Church Lane, Bridge Street and North End Park. Market Walk and Cross Hill car park with additional coverage into the town centre is also about to go live. After a donation of £2000 from the Horace Taylor Trust to extend the system now into Middle Street South towards the station we now have full coverage.
