Committees

Committees

Driffield Town Council have a number of committees which meet regularly to develop specific initiatives or projects. Each committee is made of of Town Councillors with an elected Chair and Vice Chair

The current committees are:

  • Events and Markets Committee which meets monthly to discuss the towns events and weekly Thursday market.

Usually meet on the first Wednesday of every month (apart from August) at 7pm in the council offices at 2-4 Market Walk, Driffield. Find out more here.

  • Environment and Planning Committee which meets monthly to discuss our environment and submitted planning applications.

Usually meet on the second Tuesday of every month (apart from August) at 6pm in the council offices at 2-4 Market Walk, Driffield. Find out more here.

  • Property & Asset Committee which meets monthly to discuss the councils property and assets (such as tools etc), along with the town CCTV and allotments.

No meetings take place during August when the council has its recess. Other than the Personnel committee meetings, members of the public are welcome and indeed encouraged to attend to any of the committee meetings.
