As their first project achievement, Driffield Town Council are delighted to welcome Sarah Oswald of The Authentic Spark to the Mortimer’s Heritage Project team. Sarah has considerable experience in facilitating, mentoring, training and encouraging people and organisations to deliver a variety of heritage-based projects both nationally and locally.
At an Induction Meeting on Wednesday February 6th, Sarah met the team and outlined how she was going to assist in delivering the first stages of this Heritage Lottery Funded project. After visiting Mortimer’s at River Head, Sarah was impressed with this Grade II listed building, its current condition and the enormous potential it has to benefit the town and our
local economy. Cllr Mark Blakeston, chair of the Mortimer’s Heritage Project team, said ‘we are very much looking forward to working with Sarah over the next five months. Her expertise in this sphere will be invaluable in assisting us establish a business plan and help us create an effective and strong charitable governing body to take forward this fantastic opportunity at Mortimer’s Warehouse’.
